Thread: Is it okay to cancel an appointment in a timely manner?

  1. Default Is it okay to cancel an appointment in a timely manner?

Just wondering what is the consensus. I made an appointment with an escort Saturday night for Sunday about over 2 month ago.Something unexpected came up so I cancelled with this lady via text after 9 a.m. on Sunday. Didn’t want to text her too early but didn’t want to text too late as she could make other plans.
    Is this reasonable etiquette?
I’d love to make an appointment with this lady now but feel she might be a tad annoyed. No reply from my cancellation via text, which was fair. I just genuinely couldn’t make it, as unfortunately life happens.

What time was the apt and when did you find out about whatever it was that made you cancel?2 months out anything can happen. Impossible to know if someone can commit to that.

From my experience as long as you don't cancel like 30 minutes/1 hour before the appointment is due, most ladies out there will be OK with it. I ended up meeting the ladies I had to cancel out on the 1st time and when we actually did meet for the 1st time there was no negative energy between us, so as long as you do cancel with with plenty of heads up time (about 2 - 3 hours or more), you should be good. The same thing applies for an escort you already met before, but in these cases they're even more forgiving (assuming that your previous meeting(s) ended up going well/with good energy/chemistry).

Well to make appointment 2 months ago... That’s very long time ago. You should make confirm week before, day or two before and in the day of the appointment. Anything can happen both parties. Absolutely. But you shouldn’t wait till that day and cancel it in the morning if you knew it earlier. Why waiting for that day? Why don’t let lady know earlier? Especially when she was so kind and accept appointment so much ahead. Just my thought. I wouldn’t mind cancelation. As anything can show up. But not Gentlemen wait for day of appointment if he knew it already.

Time wasters are the bane of escorts lives.

At least you cancelled, and just didn’t show up.

Not sure if you have any reputation , like is your phone number known? Or have you visited many escorts before?, if not, it’s not a great start to your punting career.

saturday Night bookings are often cancelled Sunday mornings for obvious reasons.

It’s common sense anyway, not sure why you have to ask

Life happens. I had to cancel 2 appointments over the years with relatively little notice - an hour before both times I think. One lady was understanding, and I went on to meet her a few months after. The other one hung up the phone when I called to cancel. Then blocked me. Which to be fair is understandable too you know? I felt bad of course, but sometimes life throws a spanner at the most inconvenient of times.

    I know where I'd throw a spanner!

Also depends on the length of the appointment that is being canceled :

If it was a one hr booking , canceling the day before or at least with several hr’s notice would be ok / Life .

If the booking was a multi-hour or half day / full day appointment , that lady would’ve reserved that block of time

for That appointment :: to cancel a booking like that on Morning Of … oh my , that’d be lowly .

That said , life Can happen : but in such case I feel it would be gentlemanly to offer partial payment for

    her time lost .
I do what I want. I cannot do otherwise.

Depends. How long was the app for? What time was it for? Had you confirmed the app already?

It's different for each provider. Those of us who only look after a set number of clients/work day, depends how much notice. For me, for 1hr or less or none nuru massages, I'm good. For nuru, which takes me 45mins to prep and an hr to clean up after, or anything over 1hr booking, that requires at least a day prebooking... I'd only book on the day and only if I was free/haven't done my max per day (4 daily, 5 at a push). If it's a late booking that'll go past my work hrs and it was booked way in advance and you cancel when I can't book anyone else, I'll only ever book you if I'm still in the red at the end of the week.

But it's easier for services that don't require much prep and for people who don't have a set max.
