For me it was self defence as the 2 drivers were outnumbered!

I feel very sorry for delivery cycle riders. They do an immensely difficult job and then have to watch out for roaming, lawless youths in the city center. There have been many cases of attacks on these workers going about their work and the theft of their expensive equipment.
When there is zero consequences to attacking people going about their lawful duty, and robbing them of their source of income, things were always going to get out of hand. Introduce zero tolerance to deal with the scumbags on the streets and these sort of horrific cases won't happen.
Build detention centers and lock them up.

My thoughts exactly, but I didn't want to say. Oh I'm being attacked by youths...I'll just pull out my knife. I've been in about 50 fights, but I've never pulled a knife (obviously). I'm not full up on this story though...was the knife a genuine concealed weapon or did he have it with the food delivery set up?

Unfortunately the youths have no fear of adults or the garda. Something was always gona happen like this

No criminal record mind you, I was only arrested once!
