    Default Striapacha on TG4 Now

    It's on TG4 at 10.30 if you're interested ;-)

    Striapacha (OS)
Caitear súil sa chlár seo ar striapachas sa fichiú aois déag go dtí an lá atá inniu ann in Éirinn, ar an tslí a chaití le mná scaoilte nuair a chuirtí in áiteanna iad mar na ‘Magdalene Laundries’ len iad a athshlánú. In ainneoin seo ar fad tá striapachas fós go forleathan sa tír. Caitear súil ar conas mar atá athrú tagtha ar chúrsaí gnéis agus striapachais sa ré nua seo na teicneolaíochta, ar an idirlíon agus sna meáin.

    Striapacha (OS)
The third in a three-part series on the history of prostitution in Ireland, written and directed by BAFTA-nominee Virginia Gilbert, featuring contributions from Senator David Norris, TD Liz MacManus, Ivana Baciik, Mary Kenny and Dr. Derek Freedman as well as contributions from women currently working in prostitution. Also featuring performances from Gerard McSorley, Declan Conlan and Fiona O'Shaughnessy. Episode 3 - 'The Pleasure Chest' charts the twentieth century through to the present day, beginning with the closure of Dublin's red-light district of Monto, changing sexual attitudes throughout the latter half of the twentieth century and current debates on the sex industry.

    Default Watching now!

Interesting, recognised some of the bodies from the EI site.

They never mentioned boys doing things to men! Or did I miss that. Saw it in broad daylight one day in the streets of Dublin!! And people were passing by laughing or calling friends when they saw it too!!

WTF are you on about? Lost truly.

Did everyone watching see E-I on the telly?

They were incorrect when they said this website began in 1997 though, it was 1998, we are only 10 years old this year
