    Default Striapacha

Oh my god, did anyone see Striapacha on TG4 earlier?

    http://www.iftn.ie/news/?act1=record...rchnews&only=1

Only the odd prostituition documentary really gets me thinking, but this one did...

It got me thinking, how do the poor sods who only speak Irish get a 'striapacha' today?

Is that the Irish word for hooker?
Didn't see it (I'm back home!) but did they interview anyone who advertises here?

  3. Default quite disturbing

Actually I saw this show on tg4 and was watching it for a bit. Basically until the pictures of people with siphilis started being used i thought it was a good program.

    Default Speaking of Syphillis

Increases in instances of Syphillis is a global problem. I read, that recently, infection rates in the UK have increased by a massive 2000%

The post by Spankdoctor where he mentions that clients demand OWO (and so girls have to offer it to stay competitive) made me think.

There was such an uproar not too long ago about an escort allegedly offering BB sex - yet OWO, it seems, is perfectly acceptable.
If men didn't demand OWO then the ladies wouldn't have to feel pressured into offering it, thereby putting themselves (and the whole sexual chain which follows) at risk. - I'm pretty certain the majority of escorts would be much happier doing it covered.

Syphillis is nasty! It's on the increase - and that's globally! Yet often the first sign is missed and by the time more serious signs are obvious, it's well manifested and causing damage...and being passed on, of course.

Is it ignorance of the facts? or knowing.. but turning a blind eye and thinking it will never happen to you?

  5. Default std and condom.

was reading this website about STD's and in terms of syphilis protection with condom it is supposed to be low alongside many others
    http://www.talksexwithsue.com/condoms.html

ofc the ones with low effectiveness appear to be curable. Although still unpleasant i reckon

Default Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he reap. Woman Too!

Reality is so nice. The truth hurts and is good. Didnot know about this program. Thanks Pat. I am looking forward to it next Thursday at 1015pm. Some of you will be busy making a toss; "TO THE SPOT, ABOVE GIRLS' KNEES, WHICH TEASES AND PLEASES AND CAUSES DESEASES!!".

I saw the program and seeing that pictures wasn't nice.
It makes me wonder why some people don't worry about being healthy. Fortunately not everybody is like that and some clients have said that one of the reasons that made them choose me was the fact that I do not provide OWO, CIM and like me they do care about health issue.

Yes, and the programme last night was only about prostitution in Ireland in the 1800s / early 1900s, not modern day! Next weeks programme will be about prostitution in Ireland today I think.

I think we should also clarify that the programme last night was about prostituition in Ireland many, many years ago, in case anyone here who didn't see the programme is reading this thread and thinking it showed shocking current material about prostitution in Ireland and STDs!

Of course STDs are still an issue today, but I don't think we should be relating too much to what was shown in that program last night, as it was about how things were back in the 1800s / early 1900s and things have changed considerably since then!
