An Interview with Lucy Chambers
Last night, I had the absolute pleasure of talking to the very lovely, very chatty, Ms Lucy Chambers.
Lucy is one of E-I's most prolific escort posters, and I'm sure she needs no introduction. This Yorkshire lasher said that she would be very boring when it came to interviewing her, but I'm sure you'll agree, that was quite the contrary!

Sam: Hi Lucy. How's things?
Lucy: Very good Sam, thanks.
Sam: So Lucy, how long have you advertised with us as an escort?
Lucy: I've been advertising since June of last year.
Sam: So how did you actually get into escorting?
Lucy: I started out as 'maiding' for an agency in London. Maiding is where you deal with clients; you bring in the clients to see the escorts, answer telephone calls, ask the clients which escort they would like to see, work as security, that sort of thing. At the time, there was no internet service. Clients would come in and choose an escort they wanted to see from a catalogue. It was completely different at that time, such a different experience; the bookings were longer (never just for half an hour or an hour), and customers would often pay with a credit card. We had a card swipe machine. One day a client came in and I asked him who he would like to see. He told me that he wanted to see me! I never even considered the idea of escorting, I just worked there. I decided to go and I ended up going to Paris! It was fantastic!
Sam: Wow! So this was your first client? What was going through your mind at the time?
Lucy: Hahaha! I loved it! I was well chuffed! I was being paid for sex! I come from a very strict Irish family so I wasn't really concious of myself until I was 20. When I 'discovered' myself I loved having sex for free! Then I was taken to Paris and was being paid for it! This job can have it's bad moments, bad when it goes well, it's fantastic!
Sam: Okay, so what else do you enjoy about your work?
Lucy: I'm a very social person, so I love meeting different people (and practising my pin-point psychology)! Haha! There are some really lovely, genuine people out there; there is the odd person that spoils it every now and then, but thankfully they are few and far between.
Sam: You're obviously a very intellegent woman. What subjects interest you?
Lucy: History was a favourite of mine, but I would say English Literature is my major. I just love reading and I read a lot.
Sam: What sort of material do you enjoy reading?
Lucy: I read a wide range of things... the classics... I've just read 'The Three Hundred and Ninety-nine Steps' by Michel Faber, 'Dark Tourist' by Dom Jolly... all kinds of things. I read poetry (I like Sylvia Plath)... new articles. I'm determined to finish reading the Bronte books, 'Jayne Eyre' and 'Wuthering Heights'. I like modern day things too, like 'Harry Potter' and 'Hey Nostadamus!'.
Sam: Quite a variety there! Haha!
Lucy: Well, when I was nine, my mother took a book out for me called 'Master of the Game', not realising it was very naughty and had anal sex references in it! I was fascinated! Haha!
Sam: What? Anal sex! Are you kidding! Haha!
Lucy: Haha! Yeah! Oh, she was mortified when she realised! Later in life I used to give her a book list and she would just go out and buy the things for me, not realising that some of it was quite rude!
Sam: I remember the first dirty book I read actually... it was called 'The Erotic Adventures of Sandra'. Haha! I was about fifteen when I read it. Needless to say, it was passed around my mates once I'd done with it! Haha!
Lucy: What? With all the pages stuck together? Hahahahaha!!!
Sam: Erm... yeah! Haha! I just said that my parents were decorating!
Lucy: Haha! Ewwwww!
Sam: Do you have any heroes? Who and why?
Lucy: Hmmm.... good question.... Mahatma Ghandi is a hero of mine. He really stood up for what he believed even if it would cost him his life. Another hero of mine is Jaques Cousteau. He was the first person to dive to depths of 18 metres and below, and he had a camera. The equipment at that time was so dangerous as so many things could go wrong; it could blow up and kill him, it was so heavy (it was dangerous without all that equipment anyway).
Sam: Do you own any pets?
Lucy: I used to keep flying fish, angel fish and parrot fish, but because I'm away a lot, I couldn't maintain them. I keep guppies now. I also have a King Charles Spaniel called Harriette (and she's four times the size she should be! Haha!). I would love to breed her, but she's nine now, so it's not really a good idea.
Sam: Aww! Poor Harriette. She's getting old now! Haha!
Lucy: I know! Haha!
Sam: So what do you do when you're not working?
Lucy: I love diving; it's a real passion of mine. I love to spend time with my family and friends. Because I'm travelling around a lot, it's hard to maintain a relationship with people, so I try to do it as often as I can. I like to cook... I'm quite a good cook actually! When I was last home, I made toffee apples, fudge and peppermint creams! Yum!
Sam: Do you have any long term plans?
Lucy: I love diving and I eventually want to set up a diving school in England. I want to help people in the community, including disabled and immoble people. I love to work with people as I'm very sociable.
Sam: That's a lovely plan. So how long do you intend on continuing to work as an escort?
Lucy: A year! That's the plan!
Sam: So what attracted you to work in Ireland?
Lucy: My family are originally from Ireland. Also, I had a friend that worked in Belfast who told me about Ireland, so I thought I'd give it a try. I actually only intended to stay for a week; I was going to work for a hotel, but I changed my plans and continued to work as an escort.
Sam: Have you ever been recognised by a punter in public?
Lucy: I actually ended up sitting next to a client on a plane!
Sam: Haha! Really? What happened?
Lucy: I was also sat next to someone I was with at the time. He didn't acknowledge me, but given the chance, I would have joined the mile-high club there and then! Haha!
Sam: Brilliant! Poor fella! So what is the funniest escort-related incident that you can remember?
Lucy: Gosh, there's so many! Okay, one time in London, this guy requested that I go and see him wearing nothing but stockings and suspenders underneath a long coat. Being the dirty girl I am, I was completely up for it and got dressed, put on the coat and headed out. As I walked out, I felt one of the suspenders ping! I then got into a taxi, and as I crouched to get in, I felt another ping. I got out of the taxi and headed towards the hotel (where a nice man in a top hat was at the door) and I could feel the stockings around my ankles. To make matters worse, a gust of wind blew the coat open, showing everything!
Sam: Oh my God! Haha! Unlucky! Haha!
Lucy: God, I know! Another time a friend of mine asked meto take him make up and clothes shopping. He was a six foot four quaddie with a shaved head dressed up in women's M&S clothes. We were at Selfridges and I'm talking to the woman working there, saying, "Excuse me... I'm after some make-up for my friend!"
Sam: Haha! A place I used to work, we had a regular that came in... he was about six four, built like a brick shit-house, wearing a black hat with a black net on the brim, a black dress, black fish-net tights with his leg hairs poking out, and he was pushing a black carriage pram! He had a wife that always tagged along with him. It was hilarious! In a 'Bab's Cabs', 'League of Gentlemen' sort of way, he would shout, "Alright, mate?" through his badly drawn on bright red lipstick! Haha!
Lucy: Hahahaha!
Sam: So where does Lucy like to go on her holidays?
Lucy: I like to go anywhere where I can dive. I also love the archealogical museum in Naples, and I've been to Pompeii. I go on holiday for the culture and diving, not for the sun and getting pissed. I actually have a to-do list of places I want to visit, including the Galapogos Islands and Peru, although I'll probably be old when I get to see them!
Sam: What would be your idea of a perfect date?
Lucy: A hot air balloon ride.
Sam: Hot air balloon?
Lucy: Yeah, I've always wanted somebody to take me on one. I also love lazy afternoons in the park, picnics, staying in watching a black and white movie.
Sam: Ah, you're a woman with simple tastes! Haha!
Lucy: Yes, I like the simple things in life.
