My experience is very limited, but I wholly agree that being a touring escort as opposed to a stable/local one must be very

different and surely every aspect of the business has to be handled/managed differently..

As I have no experience Touring, I do not have an opinion as to what is the best way to do things in that case.. xx

A disadvantage of being a punter and not an escort is that we are on the outside and therefore find it difficult to contradict or query much that an escort says about her business .

One the thing I find hard to square is that I read on the one hand that business is well down for the escorts, its difficult to make any decent money etc and on the otherhand I hear that escorts are run off their feet and unable to respond in a reasononably timely fashion to pms or other types of enquiries. I know that ladies do get loonie calls and texts but I would hope that it is reasonably easy to sort the good from the rubbish.

You might be right , I just dont know but I often read the girls saying how quick they can spot a TW. However, I am often surprised by the lack of response even to a PM --- maybe its just cos its me !!!

Exactly. And sometimes after talking to so many idiots you are too disheartened to answer.

I went to Cork for 2 days and only saw two clients. Don't get me wrong- my phone didn't stop ringing but I had every timewasteridiotprick calling and I had enough. Switched the phone off and stuffed my face. I sometimes find it hard to grit my teeth and smile so I'd rather do that than pick up with a bad attitude. Swearing down the phone isn't fun.

With regards to not returning pm appointments I'm pretty good at it but mainly because I have a Blackberry so I can answer in the back of a cab or wherever. However it does become difficult as sometimes genuine pms get swamped between chit chat pms.

I will call back a number that I narrowly missed. The phone will probably still be in the guy's hand as I call back. If the call came while I as in a booking, I may send a text saying that I'm now able to take calls, but I won't sign it, just in case the phone ends up in the wrong hands. I NEVER respond to texts. They're just a waste of time and I am happy to take the risk that maybe one out of the 30 guys vying for my attention with a text message may have been genuine. But I'd hate to have to send out 60 to 90 text messages to get to the one genuine texter (since "R U Free now?" is normally followed by "What services do you offer?" and/or "What are your rates?" or "Describe yourself". Totally moronnic questions and all information to be found in my blooming profile if the idiots texting could be arsed to read.

This afternoon, my phone as silent for long stretches of time. Then I had a booking in the evening and the minute he walked in through the door, the phone rang incessantly! I had forgotten to mute it during the booking. And I just knew that the calls would have stopped (four different callers it turned out) as soon as I was available to pick the phone.

But my point is, a professional won't pick the phone during a booking with a client. She will respond to messages to call her back though.

Agree with Anon that if a call or text is returned should be within 30mins to avoid any problems.
I have a separate punting phone to be safe. Definitely the way to go.
