Thumbs up The Children of Men, TV3, 12:25 am

The children of men is on tonight. i remember seeing it on it's release
in 2006. i like depictions of the near future, maybe 20 years into the future.

this is set in England in 2027. no babies are being born any more and
society has broken down somewhat which i felt was realistically portrayed..

watch it tonight and we might have a chat about it...

I loved the movie. So well made. Clive Owen is dreamy. :-)

brilliant movie..the book won some big prize for the writer too.there was an excellent cast -clive owen brilliant-julianna moore brilliant -michael cain excellent..lol in a word brilliant me thinks..i thought the acting was very realistic and the way it was shot it looks gloomy almost
its better to burn out than to fade away

Great movie...a bit underrated...there is a sense that the way the movie is filmed every colour is amost filtered through and diluted with a greyness if that makes sense lol...i guess to reflect the collective hopelessness of our survival as a species at the thought of not being able to conceive...
