Default How important is the forum to E-I?

Iíve been pondering this question lately? Why does E-I bother with the forum?

I signed up to E-I to leave reviews for the escorts I was seeing. Prior to signing up I never looked at the forum, even though I would have been using E-I to find escorts. Since signing up, Iíve become addicted to the forum and needless to say enjoy it immensely.

But I canít help thinking Ė what does E-I stand to benefit from the forum? Itís a lot of work for E-I Ė managers, mods and IT support staff.

I donít see the forum contributing significant to the business of E-I? I suspect itís only the minority of E-I users, both clients and escorts that actually use the forum.

If the E-I were to close down the forum tomorrow, I would be devasted but would continue to use E-I to find escorts.

So thank you E-I for running and maintaining this forum. And unless Iím missing something it seems to be a good will venture on the part of E-I rather than a business strategy?

(I'm sure this must have been discussed before but not in my few months here.)

I doubt it is purely alltruistic, but if it is then thanks EI. Like yourself I have become addicted to the forum, its value is that it allows something of our personalities come to the fore, clients and ladies alike. It is an essential item to making this a rounded site, if you know what I mean.

My thoughts are that things would be perfectly fine without it. I don't feel it's a necessary part of the site.

That is true, but if we don't have to why should we, the world would be poorer without your input. xx

Initially only registered to leave reviews.
Only recently started looking at and posting in the forums. Have been a member for nearly a year.
    Becoming slowly addicted.
Other benefits of the forums is that it gives you a flavour of the personalities of the girls you'll end up meeting.

I'm not sure what the reasons were. It's the age we live in. Most sites have a forum these days. I think it's a great benefit to both escorts and clients. You get an idea what escorts are like before you meet them through posts, pms and chat. You get information through forums you wouldn't get in a review or ad profile. The warning section and reviews chat are very useful along with the other forums. I wouldn't know as much as I do without the views of escorts and clients posts I read here through the years.

Simple. It's to put clients and escorts together. People can relate to each other and share experiences, get a feel of what someone is like. For escorts, it's to build a relationship (in a professional capicity in most cases) with clients. As thehighwayman says, it's the information highway (pun accidental!) and if there's any issues, these can be reported.

There are SO many reasons for the forums. Yes, it's a very small percentage of people that use the message boards, but look at the community we have here. You're asking what's the point of the forums? What are you doing here?

I think Morph was really asking about the financial benefit, if any to E1, rather than the need for a 'democratic' forum. I presume originally E1 expected far more Escorts to take advantage of the message board/forum than they do and was meant to be an incentive to them rather than to us none paying punters
