It's so sad that the life of someone so young and talented has been taken away.

there will always be a demand for drugs, just like there'll always be a demand for sex. I have never taken anything stronger than marijuana and that was a long long time ago.

The thing that scares me the most about illegal drugs is the scumbags selling them and god knows what sort of shit they are contaminating them with.
Thank you all the ladies I had pleasure of meeting. Forever grateful for the memories

Heather its never gona change these things are always going to be there, wheather its right or wrong.. people make choices.
I like drugs now n again which are illegal ones,, are you gona stop selling sex if this law comes in where a punter will be charged.. doubt it.... its upto the person to make that choice of their own freewill... now to the drugs in schools, again it shouldnt happen but wee need ways to prevent this,,, tbh they wer all over my skool too.

The problem is the personality type using the substance or drug. Take the following examples,

The lonely guy who visits escorts to combat that loneliness.
The guy who loves being high and buzzed using stimulants.
The guy who has a short fuse drinking too much.
The guy who is naturally skinny using drugs to keep him bigger.

These are only a few examples and all will end in disaster for the person because when they stop doing the issue returns and off they go again.

The ONLY way and its difficult ,to stop using or doing anything like this , is to disassociate yourself from everything that is involved in it and this is the problem as it leads to a sort of emptiness. Best thing is to have goals in your life and do them. If you like music play something, if you like to run, run. Have balance and purpose in your life. Its easier said than done especially these days. I have buddies on coke. I call to them now and then and its the same old shit and its being like this for a long time. All the things they wanted or were going to do havnt happened.

Some people though are quite happy even if they are killing themselves.

acceding to Kohler they probably could but thats not my opinion. There are always grey areas in every argument. I'm talking about adults here not children

each to their own though i dont see whats wrong with those who sell it as long as they only sell it to adults, its the other persons choice to buy it!!!
also i think there is a big difference between a junkie crack head to someone who enjoyes a few drugs for the ocasional social night out or a couple of smokes at the end of the day

I use to love taking drugs.
Now, I'm a guy in his late forties, who apart from the very occassional smoke doesn't take drugs. But I can't be a hypocrite and say all drugs are the devils work. In my youth 20's and into my 30's I moved in circles where drug taking was the norm, and the experimenting with different substances went hand in hand, the feeling that some drugs give you is sublime, leaves sex standing ! ,but thats the very reason they are addictive.
I reached an 'Amy Whinehouse' situation where I either quit or ended up in the gutter. I took to drink instead !! (I hardly drink now either). Some of the people I know aren't so fortunate, when I'm in the UK I sometimes visit a mate in a mental instituition who is no longer able to function due to excesses of the past, a couple of others are dead.
In no way am I advocating drug taking, but its not as black and white as saying that all dealers should be strung up.
    I'll just pack my bags......
I'm with you here. I experimented in my teens and into my early 20s. Never anything hard, just soft fun stuff. It always gave a better buzz than alcohol. I now touch no drugs and I barely drink.

Drink is the biggest problem in this country - it's legal and it makes the government a small fortune every year. Addictive behaviour or a tendency towards addictive behaviour will get people in to serious trouble no matter what they fall in to. Drugs, Drink, Gambling or Escorts.

Everything in moderation and do everything possible to get the dealers away from kids...
Retired from punting, yet still here?
