You'll love this one so. Rory was very introverted and shy in life but give him a stage and he was the opposite. Slash, Hendrix , Townsend and Clapton (all top guitarists) , all said Gallagher was the best guitarist ever. He wasnt as well known because real fear of flying interfered with his tours.

Hendrix was once asked what did it feel like to be the greatest guitarist in the world?

He smiled at the reporter and said "Donno. Ask Rory!"

He wasnt an alcoholic either as a lot of people suggest. He died of complications to a liver transplant brought on by abuse of meds which wasnt helped by drinking but he didnt have a drinking problem as such . People also forget he was a multi-instrumentalist including saxophone, harmonica and banjo. He was simply a brilliant all rounder. Jimmy Page is another guitarist that definitely belongs up there with the best.

Not so kind sir. How could I forget:

Silver and Gold (live on Rattle and Hum) - The Edge

Anything by Carlos Santana and AC/DC live.

Is there any end to this list?
