Hi Lillian, its just a derogatory term that the people making the boinfires would call the nationalist minority in Northern Ireland. I shouldnt even have been joking about it but there isnt quite so much hatred anymore so maybe its ok to make some jokes.

This happens every Bonfire Night. People with nothing better to do get tanked up on booze and then go throw stones at the police. It's a way of bringing a community together - you know, finding the best missiles, encouraging your children from the sidelines etc.
