I know you're a 'softie', but don't be getting that girl opes up; tell her to call around some of the popular girls, and see if they'll hire her to answer their phones, and to go to the 'Social'

    Agree with AL's advice
Make sure the CV is typed
Easy to read, if you've had alot of jobs, just highlight and go into more detail of those relevant to the job you're applying for.
PUT IT THROUGH SPELL CHECK (English not American spellings), alot of CVs have basic spelling mistakes.
Get someone you trust to read through it.
    Good luck.

Its what you say in the interview relative to your CV is what helps. Dont have your life story on a CV but keep the points brief and precise and try to keep the overall CV around two pages or so. On the CV what you need to stand out is your strong points which can be used by this employer and this is why its important to keep them precise so they can be emphasised properly by your in the interview. The interview is basically re-emphasising those strong points along with showing that you have the required necessities for the particular job through passion or experience or interest or whatever the case may be.

AL1302 : I have found that the French are the worst of all to employ I had 3 and they all got a chance
at the interview stage and got the jobs but when they got the job they just turned into the
    worst workers ever

I am the lawer of hell
It's depend what type of job you offer . You didn't find the proper persons...French people are well-know for their skills, but it's true in english we are completely shit !!

maybe you generalise too much... I noticed that for french speaking people (not french kissing ) it's not too difficult to find a job and if we get a better offer away, we have the tendency to move to the top.. It took me 2 weeks to be hired for example and I get offers almost every week.

So, Army girl keep going !! hope that you find a job soon !!!
