i disagree heather... vigorously.. i am a very mild mannered head chef compared to most.and i look after my staff very well and will not accept that from you at all..
a poisonous attitude can ruin a whole dynamic.so it must be stamped out quickly or got rid of...ive got a reputation second to none for my food in kerry and i dont consider 5 staff members in a 5 year period a high turnover..no way... not in a trade where youngsters come and go to college to make a few quid.

True,its hard to find good and hard working help these days. All in it for the money and legal rights.
subtle has nowt to do with it..i know the boss and manager i am and i am very good at what i do. so im not offended but you comment is definately wrong when you jump to conclusions

Hmmm...I still think that a course could be really beneficial to improve your management and interpersonal skills. None of us are so perfect that we would not benefit from some extra input. Then you pass your new experience on to your staff.
Do you not think it may be beneficial?
