    I'd prefer to be on the shelf like that than be in a box.

    But I can imagine how distressing that would be for a relative coming to collect their loved ones remains

    We done a 100 times worse here, it's not that long ago it came out hospitals were retaining the organs of kids for research without the knowledge or consent of their parents, imagine burrying your child only to find out you buried their shell and god knows where the rest of their organs went or even if they were handled with respect.
