    Default No show?...yes you...

I would like to ask everyone here...that if you make an appointment with a girl that you stick to it....or cancel it if you can not turn up.....

My reason being, is that I have been seeing a few "touring" girls and they will not return to Dublin because of no shows....

Personally, if I make an appointment I stick to it, but obviousbly there are times that 'work' gets in the way so have to cancel....but I let them know so that they can rescedule...

Well letting them know is nothing except good manners, and respect, so it follows that it is mandatory.

Funny you should say that about Dublin escorts because that's the very reason the really good escorts don't come
to Galway (timewasters) it's the likes of them arseholes that make it harder for us genuine guys.

Always let them know. Only thing is, if you have to cancel a second time, then what would happen to you reputation with her? Some might not care about it, but girls are humans as well. Yeah they take a chance by double booking, but in business, you wouldn't say no to $$$$. It works both ways I think.

Like yourself Last Time, I always keep my appointments. I have never had to cancel an appointment yet. I have only been delayed once (15 mins late) and phoned ahead to inform the lady.

Unfortunately punctuality and keeping appointments is not a virtue that is very prevalent in Ireland. This goes across the board - from Doctor's appointments to hotel/ restaurant bookings. The difference with hotel bookings is that they often take an individual's credit card details, so can debit an individual's account for a no show.

It is a disease that our society suffers from but I'm not sure if there are any sure answers as to how to solve it.

It certainly makes it very frustrating for service providers (escorts and otherwise) and prejudices against genuine reliable and punctual clients.

I occasionally have to point out that I make my bookings not on "Irish time" (show up 4ish), but on Yankee time (4 o'clock sharp).

At first blush it was shocking to experience the lack of punctuality in Irish society.. Tradesmen, service providers, etc.

I think being on time shows respect not only to the other, but also to yourself.. Holding yourself in such esteem where your word

actually means something. Say you'll be at such time, then show up at such time.. or a couple minutes before. I think integrity

    starts right about here..

Of course there are some very fine Irish people who are as punctual as any other
I do what I want. I cannot do otherwise.

Punctual? Me? I'm like the most punctual man in Ireland! lol.

Well if you have to cancel an appointment due to something outside your control, then fair enough. As long as you cancel it within a reasonable time frame. But ya... Most people I know are never where they're supposed to be on time. A wedding I was at a while ago... Bride and groom were there on time but half the guests weren't. *sigh*.... Ok I totally made that up

No you didn't make that up LDM! That's totally true of many weddings. Hence the reason the bride always comes late - to facilitate all the other lat commers!

The last wedding I was at - the bride was held up because the best man hadn't arrived. He came running down the aisle just before the bridal procession!!! (Something about staying up too late the night before!) Honestly! It's a disease I tell you!!
