Like to watch Universisy Challenge every now and then too. (Feel hella smart if I can get one question right.) Also gotta love shows like Have I Got News For You and QI.

I rathered it when Bamber Gascoigne was the host. Jeremy Paxman isn't as good.

I was a big fan of Blockbusters. It was on weekdays around about 5.00pm. Then it was replaced by drivel like Home & Away. It was revived about ten years ago on Sky with Lisa Tarbuck but not as good. The original hosts made those shows what they were.

I also liked Catchphrase but I think Bullseye would be my favourite. Talking of remakes that also got revived with Dave Spikey from Phoenix Nights as host a few years ago. It just shows how much the world has changed in twenty odd years. They were happy with toasters, electric kettles, portable tvs and a caravan as the star prize.

I'm a purist. Mastermind and University Challenge were my favourites. That being said Countdown was more my level.
