But having said that... I do have a morbid curiosity to attend one one day. Yip I could see myself there sitting up on the back row, Ms Chambers in a floral dress with a sun hat on pouring me another glass of red wine… Ah….

I am not going to get into the rights or wrongs of anything but those bulls are bred to fight. Without the bullfights they would be too expensive to keep and therefore, wouldnt exist. There are three stages to the bullfight, and in each the Matador is in grave danger also. It isnt just climbing into a pit to kill a bull.

I like to watch the occasional BULLFIGHT but its the horses I feel sorry for .I know they use old ones but when the bulls ram them
with their horns and they are blindfolded sorry not a humane way to die .

Animals bred for slaughter for the meat industry live short, pretty grim lives.
They're a commodity, pure and simple.
Animals bred for "entertainment" in the ring live short, pampered lives.
They're the alpha males, and are treated as such.
(Until, of course, they're tormented for a short period of time and executed in dramatic fashion).

Yep, it's barbaric... but UFC's barbaric. War is barbaric. Any chest-beating, gladitorial, blood-letting is barbaric.
I don't agree with it. But I can understand why it happens.
