It sounds to me that you don't trust your own feelings rather than hers. Here are my thoughts:

The difficulty here is that we are only getting your side of the story and how you feel. None of us have a clue how the lady is thinking and feeling. Perhaps you were sending "signals" that she thought meant you wanted more; hence wanting to re-ignite what you previously had. Maybe you said something that she thought meant something else.

What we do know is that you have told her that a friendship is all you want. Her lack of response could be due to confusion or disappointment or she just may want time to think.

Best thing to do is to leave it alone, move on and if she comes around, great. If not, such is life. It takes "two to tango" and if you do not want a relationship, then you cannot expect that she accept just a friendship when she wants more.
