Default When the line between fantasy and reality becomes blurred...

It struck me today that there are times when real life doesn't seem real...

Maybe it's just me, but I keep looking over my shoulder for the hidden camera.

Today, for example: I had to meet a student.
She hasn't submitted any coursework all semester. Her final year at Uni, and she's on the verge of fucking up her entire degree.
    Stunning looking girl. Gorgeous.
    Came into my office.
Sat on the edge of my desk.
Said: "Is there anything I can do to pass this module? Anything?"
    Crossed, then uncrossed her legs.

    No knickers.

On a tangent... a few years ago, I hooked up with a lady of, erm... a certain vintage.
Great looking woman, but not the youngest (not that I mind: I really, really like mature ladies)...

Went back to her place. Soixante neuf on the living room floor.
    Brilliant.

    Footsteps from upstairs.

I started to freak out a little bit, imagining an irate husband appearing with a pickaxe or similar implement.

    Shouldn't have worried:
    ...

It was her MUM... wearing the most upsettingly revealing negligee I've ever seen - she came in, sat on the sofa, and asked if I'd like a cup of tea.

you're trapped in the Matrix. Take the blue or red pill.....
Though we are not now that strength which in old days moved earth and heaven; that which we are, we are; one equal temper of heroic hearts, made weak by time and fate, but strong in will to strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

Or the time last year, when I had a party.

Morning came, and I'd seen that everyone got safely home... so I started tidying up the empties and generally staggering round the house, thinking to myself "Never, ever have a party again."

When the door of the spare room opened, and a lady came out.
Then the door of the airing cupboard opened and another lady came out.

I was very shocked to see them... but not nearly as fucking shocked as they were to see each other.

Fuck... at least that story had a very happy ending.

The moral of the story being...

if that stuff can happen to me, then the universe is an entirely splendid and sound place.

You're still stuck in the Matrix. Listen to Laurence Fishbourne....

Blue pill would have been handy for his first predicament...
