Both practices rate as the most dangerous sexual practices - given that semen and vaginal fluids carry the highest viral load (for say HIV ) next to blood. (i.e. the only thing more dangeous would be for one's mucus membranes to come into direct contact with the other persons blood).

Unproctected anal sex is the more dangeous of the two (for the person receiving it) because the lining of the rectum is less protective than the lining of the vagina.

Having said that it's much of a muchness - and both practices are like playing Russian roulette.

I presume you are referring to sex with multiple partners (as is what this site is about) rather than sex between a monogamous couple?
