    Default Cancelling an appointment

I am just looking some feedback from anyone who cares to give it about what happened today. I made a booking by pm a couple of days ago with a lady in EI and she accepted my request. I requested a 2 hour session for a few days in advance as she advertised an attractive rate and has a good set of reviews to her name. When I went back on to her profile today I noticed that the rate for the 2 hours had increased by £50. I pm'd her to check that it was the new rate that applied to my proposed visit and not the original rate that I had noticed. If I had not logged on to the profile today I could have had the embarrassing situation of turning up with not the correct amount of money.

She politely confirmed that it would be the higher fee that would apply. I politely replied that I would not be going through with the appointment and wished her the best. I understand entirely that the ladies have the right to charge whatever rate they wish and can alter it if they so wish. I suppose I could have gone for a shorter time but I enjoy longer sessions and the idea of settling for a shorter time than I had planned for took the shine off it and I thought it best to cancel.

I welcome comments from clients and ladies alike.

I prefer longer appointments myself, but generally the rate for them has come down in recent times, rather than increasing.

It is surprising that any escorts are increasing their rates at the moment, and even more surprising that the rate increased in few days since you made the booking. Maybe she was doing a trial special offer for longer bookings.

If it was someone I was really looking forward to meeting, I would probably go ahead with the booking anyway.

That's quite a hard one, as their are two sides to the situation.
From your point of view, you both agreed an appointment based on prices advertised at the time.
But sometimes situations change, and circumstances also change for the lady.

It's a hard one to call but if I were in your shoes, I would have expected the appointment to have been at the original advertised price, unless there was an initial mistake in the rates advertised

Would agree with you here Dave.

If I really, really wanted to see the lady I would still have gone ahead.

Lady lost a genuine booking and with all the talk of TW's about she may regret decisions like this.

I think most business's would honour the lower rate in the interest of customer relations, especially in today's climate.

I see your point, but Bogman, probably came to the assumption most of us would that the price would stay as the agreed price as it was made before the price change, unless in unforseen circumstances.
    I would think the same

She should have honored your appointment at her previous rate. Whatever the rate is at the time of booking, is the rate at which she should entertain. Of course she has the prerogative to cancel the meeting, but this is really bad business. I think you were right to cancel.

she agreed a price with you mate and then increased it. this is wrong unless she could give some really valid reason that was out of her control.
you did the right thing in cancelling, as said above if this was a phone company you would be onto comreg.

TBH the lady and I never actually spoke about the price verbally. We had one pleasant phone call and that was it the rest was done by pms. When I asked by pm to confirm the price she replied that it had been an error originally and the new price was correct and it would apply.
