    Default The Wonder Years

It is well documented in research and literature that adolescence can be a bewildering time? Since we have all gone through it (or are still going through it) and given we have a diverse group here of age, demographics, geographical origin, I ask:
What makes you nostalgic about your adolescence/coming of age?

Books you read at the time?
Movies that hold a memory of the time?
Places you went? People you met? Friends you had? First job?
    Your first crush/love?
    Songs that take you back?

Or is it not a time you care to remember?

Any highlights or thoughts at all?
What takes you back to the Wonder years?
The art of medicine consists of amusing the patient while nature cures the disease.

    Good post, Medicine Man.

For me, it has to be certain scents and smells, as well as the obvious 'looking through old photos'. In fact, within the past couple of days, I caught a whiff of a perfume a girl had on the other day that reminded me of my teenage years, and I looked through some old family photos and had a really big flash back in time

Great one Samlad. Forgot that one - the sense of smell memory.
Every time I scent Eternity (Calvin Klein) perfume - takes me back to my first girlfriend, standing in front of the cinema....
