i never thought TR badges would be abolished, but now that

If it was, there wouldn't be a forth thread about it!

I was never in favour of the badges being removed. I know the arguments for removing them, and that the majority of people were in favour. But I think it has made a difference especially for the new punter.

When I first started using E-I - I relied fairly heavily on TR reviews. Reviewers can have such varied tastes, not to mention fake reviewers that aren't sniffed out. I found the TR reivews to be exactly what they were supposed to be - trustworthy. At least from a clients point of view.

Having spent a bit of time on E-I, I have now identified other reviewers who have similar tastes to mine and look out for their reviews as a guide. So I don't feel the absence of TR reviews as much. Having said that, I remember who all the TR's were and read their accounts accordingly. It would be quite different for someone joining the site for the first time to figure out which reviews are trustworthy and which aren't.

I'm not campaigning for TR badges to return but just stating an opinion. I fully accept that TR's are well and fully gone. But I certainly hope reviewers aren't even further downgraded. Yesterday there was a thread about abolishing some of the drop down boxes in the review section. I understand where the OP of that thread was coming from - but fear that eventually we will have completely generic non descript reviews that are a complete waste of time and won't be of any help to clients in choosing escorts.

But darl how do you know that? I'm assuming you are not an escort who has had some egotistical TR attempt to "abuse" his badge.

I was, at one stage, in favour of keeping the TR status, but when the poll thread was started I spoke to several escorts about it and they explained their reasons for wanting it removed.

It would appear that it was being abused, and by some members that were considered to be well established and honorable people. I wasn't given any names, but I was told that I would be surprised by some of those causing problems, as they came across as very nice & friendly, and were considered popular on the forum.

It is very easy to create a 'nice' profile and do good reviews, but who knows the person behind the avatar. The only one's that really know are the ladies that meet them.

I'm glad the TR status has been removed so the abusers can no longer take advantage.

Was the whole Tr badge thing, not a bit of an ego trip for some?
I tend to ignore people with one or two reviews, but after that I think in many cases in life you get back what you put in.
The ladies are no different .

Without naming any names, presumably these girls were clear as to what were the methods of abuse ?
