    Smile making a wage

today, a bill will be passed to reinstate the minimum
    wage of €8.65 to employees.

do we need government to decide such amounts, do you
think it can cause problems as well as protection? (eg an employer
may need a help in the kitchen-but couldn't stretch to almost €9ph.)

are you good at getting jobs? do you send out your CV, confident in
the knowledge that you will be selected?

are we too precious about work in Ireland? (long before the current tits-up)

    Default

Whatever about min wage, I have employees.
If my business earns € 3400, take out the Vat, take out employers prsi, take out prsi and paye and my employee gets € 2000

    That's € 3400 earned is € 2000 after taxes.

Then the employee pays vat on every purchase, duty on petrol, etc

    They don't make it easy
