New Sticky - Changing usernames - clients

My reason for doing so was to reduce my 'profile' on this site due to the number of posts and reviews I was making.

As my request was turned down, I have withdrawn slightly from these boards.
I have also been reviewing fewer of the ladies I visit, so my name doesn't appear too high in the 'top reviewer section'.

After all, if a client feels his identity may be compromised, it may force his withdrawal from the site permanently, both in posting and reviewing!

Out of curiosity Mark, why would you want to reduce your profile on this site? I don't see how your identity can be compromised if you are careful with the information you divulge.

A user name (and Avatar for that matter) develops a reputation on this site. It adds weight to anything you may say and in your case - your many trustworthy reviews.

I would feel it would be a real loss if you started posting under a different name (which is not allowed of course). You have a great reputation on this site Mark, one which you have earned, so why would you want to give that up and start from scratch?

As far as I can see - those who have returned under different user names are those who had dodgy reputations to start with and/or may have been banned.

I fully appreciate you've given this some thought hence the request to change your username. I just wanted to state the reasons I see this as a negative rather than a positive.

Agree with you there, Lucy seems to have a good eye for it. Mystical powers maybe !

Must admit I'm crap at spotting most of them.

I suppose what I'm not getting here is why change name if everyone is going to know who you were ?
Is it just solely to keep your review count down ?

The way I post and review would not change with the new name.
I would suggest that all the reviews be changed to the new user name so escorts could maintain their count.
Although users on the boards may know who I am due to my style, those outside would have little to go on.

What would change is that if someone was suspicious, and checked out this site,
Mark444 would no longer be on the top 'reviewer list', but another user.

Presently It wouldn't take much for my 'user name' to attract attention, and upon checking my reviews know which area I frequent. In this case 2+2 does equal four.

A different user name may however put a little distance between me and this account.
Pity I couldn't do this by deed pole!

Had a couple of close calls lately, and if I thought I was going to be as active on this site, I may have selected more wisely.

My request was to transfer my account to a new 'user name', keeping posts and reviews.

Personally I have no interest in having duplicate names, and if push came to shove, will not create a new profile,
but let this one die a slow death!

If that is the case it should be allowed for exceptional reasons. God knows the escorts here change name, with or without permission

It read initially you were trying to distance yourself from your reviews ect..

So you would literally be happy to change to say More444 you just regret using your real first name.

I'd have no problem with that as long as you still keep the avatar

Funnily enough I'm not.
I seem to identify people here with their avatars more than their names. I get quite irked when people change them
