Seriously, Why DO a lot of Irishmen live with their mothers for so long? Is it because they are afraid to leave?

Having scarpered when still a teen I can't understand these men.
Having said that Irish mothers are to blame, they still wipe their little boys bums & give them baths well into their 30s ! Maybe that's why so many don't know how to wash their own swiss rolls when visiting a lady ?
