Thumbs up Senator David Norris for President!

I want David Norris to hold the Presidency for a term.
i like his open minded/forward thinking approach to social issues
    (such as the drug situation)

i don't want any more women in the Aras for a while because i think
it's now 21yrs since a man held this office?

David is gay and i of course have no issue with this.

I suspect you may not get your wish, seems someone has it in for him, possibly because he is gay.
I have no favourite among the declared candidates, I suspect we will see a female celebrity candidate, despite her denials, she won't get my vote for sure.

would love to see Norris as president, he's a great speaker and a little more in touch with reality than most. I had a quick look at the other candidates and none of them float my boat. Also it would say a lot to the world that Ireland has an openly gay president, I have a feeling that he wouldn't take a backseat (pardon the pun) like his predecessors, but instead shout form the hilltops to get his voice heard about laws he believes in.

I think he would make an excellent President, articulate and outspoken, unfortunately probably why he wont get it. Not sure the moral majority are ready for him yet.

Pfff I dono guys he doesn't do it for me it's not that I don't like him I just don't know about him being president but I will say he's the best candidate so far I also like Gallagher but same as Norris president?? Remember a president should not get involved in politics but is a symbol of out country we'll see who comes out yet maybe Norris will be the best but I'd don't think he'll get the nod guys

Gallagher could be ok too, Mc Aleese has been grand and she
handled the Queen's visit with style. i weren't mad about Mary Robinson,
but for equality reasons-no more women!

On a personal level I really like him, but he's just not very presidential I think.
