Been to Oxegen a couple of times & Slane to see RHCP. Went over to Monsters of Rock (now called Download) once when i was a kid, but haven't been to any for a while now. Always enjoyed the craic, live music & the atmosphere.

hell yeah!Hell yeahwould far prefer underground or outside music festivals as aposed to night clubs always a far better energy and buzz me thinks :P

I don't know if you know this big festival that it is in my contry < Oktoberfest > ,in Munchen, in every year and there are comming a lots of tourists....it's a greate big big party....you get a lot of fun there...

Get the pipes and slippers out lads. Loud noise? People?....May i suggest to my fellow old geezers the Electric Picnic, great festival regardless of the bands playing. Lots of chill out spaces, green fields etc when it all gets to much. You can even stay in a 5 star RV if camping is roughing too much. Oxygen a bit young for me. Nice little one down in West Cork this weekend, going tomorrow, Patti Smith heading the bill.
