Yes but a caution means you have been charged. A caution will show up on a CRB check here also. I got cautioned when I was a teenager for cycling my bike to school down a one way street.

i was wondering this myself also, I thought that if an advanced CRB check was done then it would come up with any arrests incurred and a release without charge, but don't take that as gospel

You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time.

    Unfortunately, not entirely true.

It is sometimes the case that a prospective employer will look at your credit history, do an "enhanced" disclosure and check all social networking sites without you knowing. (there are companies and individuals that offer this service to employers)

In the UK its pefectly legal and its a good way for an employer to know what sort of person they could be taking on before they even offer you a second interview! If the role is such that you will be entrusted with large amounts of money, responsibility, big corporate accounts or even a minor security position, it will pay the employer to do this, especially when they are investing so much in you.....

I was surprised to see my own enhanced disclosure a while ago!!!!
