Its not surprising united lost. They have xavi inieasta in midfield, we have micheal carrick. The better team won on the night

I wouldn't be utds biggest fan but i don't see any shame in getting beat by arguably the best club side of all time.

I'd say it is between them, the Milan team of the 80s/90s, the L'Pool team of the 80's. Then you can go back to the Madrid team of the 50's. In my eyes, if you say it is the best of the last 30 years atleast, then you have to say they are the best ever. If they aren't, then they are very very close. Whatever it might be, lets just enjoy watching them play like they did tonight and hopefully not have to think back upon them as they were in the Semis against Real.

What do people think of not including the top goal scorer of the pl, not even on the bench and have a player like Owen on there instead, someone who has barely played at all. Berbatov leaving this summer would be my guess.
Berbatov left the staduim when he found out he was not in the team,so i would say he is defo on his way....

It was crazy not having Berbatov on the bench. Owen is finished. I would say Berbatov is going back to Spurs but he'll be going a lot cheaper than they bought him for. I think they might offer Berbatov and Carrick in exchange for Modric. That's what Utd need someone of that class in midfield. It would be a big ask to expect Giggs and Scholes to play a big part for another season so quality midfielders are needed.

It was a real mismatch. Carrick was way out of his depth against Xavi and Iniesta.
Help Keyla in her fight with cancer. Every little helps.

I think they would be better cashing in on Rooney as he's only going to get worse. Maybe that was Fergusons plan all along to get him on a longer contract so they could get a large fee for him. His head is getting far too big. You only have to see it when he scores a goal thinking he's the best in the world. Arguing with Fergie isn't clever as there is alwas one winner there.

carrick was out of his depth against southampton in the f.a. cup ...never mind xavi and iniesta.

i think wesley sneijder would be a great signing.

Your right Sneijder would be a very good signing. They probably need another defender too as Ferdinand is getting on now and is injured a lot the last few years. You have Smalling but would he be good enough in the latter stages of the champions league?

Fergie will be a bit happier now his son Darrens side Peterborough have just scored two goals in quick succession.

I think de gea is a done deal by the sound of it and i can see them bring in modric from spurs as snedjer is probably out of their price range....another striker and thats their lot.
