Being relatively knew to the TS experience in the last few months..It is something I have enjoyed each time, I found I was actually less nervous when meeting them, albeit on my first experience!

Honestly it is something I have thought quite a bit about recently because I have had a few TS experiences now and I thought how hard it must be for TS to find acceptance with certain people and also finding a loving committed partner!

To answer your question, I would have no problem bringing them home to meet my parents.. More nervous of how my friends would react! Your family tend to accept you for you and are happy once you are... Where as friends will gossip and be bitchy!

This is a very interesting post actually. I've found as time goes on, that my parents pleasantly surprise me. In a hypothetical situation (as I personally wouldn't date a TS), there would have been a time when I would have said no to this question, as I would be worried how my parents would react. However, as I have got older, I have discovered just how open minded my parents are; as long as the person is polite, friendly and approachable, my folks have no qualms with anyone.

My dad quite recently said to me over a few beers that he doesn't really give a shit what sexual preference, religion, creed or colour a person is as long as they are friendly, and without realising it, this is where my own personal morals come from. In fact, I've had that much trouble with women, my dad actually told me that if I brought a bloke home, he would be more relieved than surprised! LOL!

It is amazing how relaxed parents can be, especially when they too get older. I just think they want their children to be happy. And that's too funny what your father said! Lol He seems like a pretty cool open minded person.

I come from a rather conservative and muslim family so used to have issues even bringing blonde guys home! My grandmother has certain opinions on inter racial relationships that I shan't share. I'm of the same opinion as others though. If you love someone enough you will do it.
