Yeah, the Myians(think that's how you spell it) is much better. 21st December 2010 is when their calender ends. Apparently they predicted the two World Wars and a few other things too. On the 14th I'm going to request a huge limit increase in my credit cards and go nuts.

The Mayans predicted the end of the current (Fourth, by their reckoning) age of man. They never said anything about it being the LAST age of man. They didn't get the chance to make a calendar beyond 2012 because their civilisation collapsed.

So 2012 is hogwash too. The only concrete prediction about the end of the world is this - one day, our Sun will die, and the nova will destroy the Earth. I, Mousey the Prophet, have spoken.
