The live in Cuba dvd is f***kng brilliant. Even an acoustic solo version of Black Hole Sun performed by Mr Cornell.

Black Hole Sun would prolly be my fave song of theirs. Not too familiar with them as I only have a Best Of album, but it gets regular plays on my 'pod.

Anyone who likes Chris Cornell and Soundgarden = good.
    Anyone who doesn't = chimpfucker.

It's been scientifically proven, folks. I'll publish the results at a later date.

As a singer myself, it's impossible to overstate what he's capable of.
But he's got company at the peak of Mt Rock Olympus.
Mr Kennedy, I salute thee (just fuckin' listen to what he does 2:34-2:53 ... insane technique and power)

Ah yes, Myles Kennedy. Apparently touring all year with Alter Bridge, then with Slash, than Alter Bridge again.
    Powerful vocalist.

    Good call.
BUT! Neither Alter Bridge or Slash have any Irish dates (apart from Slash @ Oxygen, and I'm not going to fork out hard earned cash to listen to 85% indie pish, as a matter of principle)

I was in college in the US when the grunge thing hit its peak. Will always remember the first time having sex with [name deleted, as she's now a minor TV personality in America] whilst listening to the Temple of the Dog album.
    Sheer, unadulterated brilliance.
And the album wasn't bad either.

"Burden in my Hand" was a cracker alright. Problem is I was going through a fairly rough point in my life when it was a hit in '96 and it always kinda reminds me of that time

But Soundgarden were a top band, Rusty Cage, Superunknown, Head Down, Slaves and Bulldozers...great stuff
    Bada Bing!!!
