Three of the best fights ever, Macho Man vs Hogan, Macho Man vs Ultimate Warrior and Ultimate Warrior vs Hogan. I might be wrong but I think they were 3 Wrestlemanias in a row.

    Yep,

    MM V HOGAN was WM5
    UW V HOGAN was WM6
    UV Vs MM was WM7

great matches all of them but favourite was Macho Man V Ricky The Dragon Steamboat. They had one or two grudge matches in the buildup and Macho Man ended up injuring Rickys throat with the bell, then on the night in question Macho Man put the Dragons throat on a barrier and came off the top rope with an elbow. I think it was the first match ever when the paramedics had to come ring side, I remember going to school the next Monday and we all couldn't stop talking about it.

    Spot on Monster,

The Ricky Steamboat match set the standard, not just in WWF but across the wrestling world...never was a match like it before!!! Ref Earl Hebner agreed as well, said of all the matches he reffed it was the finest he had seen!!!

I was only 6 or 7 maybe watching that, my mam woke me up to see it... and I was in complete awh of it, saw it at least 100 more times since!!!

This has just hit me like a ton of bricks. A true legend of the sport, one of the greatest of all time, rest in peace.

Agreed. That is a terrific example of great storytelling and athleticism in one.
