Early Morning News with LDM

Since BYGTYM's all but given up on the 6 o'clock news, I've taken the liberty of filling in for the early morning shift. Why? Cos most of the community is in la la land and by the time ye all wake up, this will have been moved to page 2... Plus I'm tired, bored and have no interest in joining ye in la la land (yet).

First off, some Aussie dude in (ya you guessed it) Australia has been killed due to this new viral phenomenon of 'planking'. Planking involves someone lying flat on their stomach with their arms against their bodies in unusual and sometimes dangerous situations, with photographs of their exploits shared through social media sites. They're all a bunch of plankers... Well they are cos that's what the police are calling these screwjobs!

In other news, some American teenager is unbanned from his school prom for... *reads article*... He was basically banned for being too romantic! He entered the grounds of the school before dawn and pasted large cardboard letters onto the building's facade asking a girl to be his date... And he got banned for that... I dunno about you but I call that some old fashioned American ingenuity!!! Who said romance is dead? Well all's well and said boy gets to go to the prom with his girl. How romantic. Btw he apparently appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel show (ya I have no idea who the F he is either) and got 200,000 supporters from social media sites like Facebook, all of whom "found Tate's act to be the sort of sweet, romantic gesture that should be encouraged rather than punished".
