Just wondering with increased security and more Garda around with the visits of the queen and Obama should a Punter be extra cautious arranging some company??!

No I think this will probably be the safest time to punt. All gardai are just focussing on the Queens security.

However, getting street parking is a whole different ball game!!! It's completely messed up my schedule in Dublin! The only kind of clamp down with regards to punting for me this week - is the possibility of getting my car clamped!!

I wouldn't worry that will be very bottom of priority list for the guards , if anything it's the best time to get a punt in

Hi all, there won't be many guards left around the country during these visits. Even though when they are around if i wish to meet a girl and if they are standing at the entrance to her apartment i would say excuse me and walk straight past them. Freedom of speech,freedom of choice,freedom of movement that is what i stand for after all i am paying for the lady's company and what happens after that is no one else's business. Most guards don't really give a toss about what we do as we are seeing grown independent girls. The more blatent you do it in broad day light in front of everyone the less notice everyone else take's. Down through the years i could pick out a punter no bother as most are looking around nerviously while on mobiles.Ducking around corners if they see anyone coming or trying to pull the handle off of the apartment door.My advice walk calmely,light a cigarette, and act normal. According to today's Sunday Independent (if one can believe the Sunday Independent), there will be 8000 gardai or two thirds of the force involved during the Queen's visit.............so as long as you're not caught with a bulge in your trousers somewhere in the vacinity of the royal personage, you could probably get away with having a shag in the middle of the road with the escort of your choice........finding parking in certain areas might be a problem though.
