I walked down O'Connell St. today and I had to look again when I saw a fleet of Dublin City Council vans and their occupants removing all the dust bins from the streets. I mean the cast iron ones that are permanently bolted to the ground. Removed every single one of them.

I could scarcely believe it ..... took the thing to a whole new level of sheer craziness for me.

A bit of disruption is to be expected but i think its definitely not right when as in the case in Cork appointments for the Mercy Hospital have had to be cancelled and u will only be allowed inside if u have photo ID. Which is more important a child get to
their hospital appointment or an 85 yr old woman who is delusional about her own importance and status be pandered to like
a god? Personally i know which is
