The ban also includes telling another mod he could stick his infraction and the fact he re posted something he was told not to and after an infraction

It's an adult site, but when it is directed at some one specifically, that vulgarity shouldn't be tolerated.

Ban has ended.
Don't want to land myself another one unintentionally (again!) so I won't say much til I've made contact with Doozer & Doc via pm to discuss things.
In the meantime, two things:
Firstly, thanks to those of you who supported me / voiced your anti-ban opinion / gave me the benefit of doubt / saw that my post was in jest - albeit poorly received.
Secondly, having experienced a ban for the first time now, I think that how a ban is implemented should be looked at.
I did not receive any pms but worse than that, I could read posts by not logging in but could not send any pms, not even to the mods, to defend myself while the ban was in place.
Surely pms should continue to be available unless the offence is pm related or the ban is permanent?
