I don't think so at all. There will be obvious retaliation I would imagine.

Its one guy, fair enough he was quite a top dog in the al queda.
There will be more, take one of them out and two will pop up. While were on the subject though, they do need to show the picture to prove he is really dead

If anything there will be retaliation. Their figure head was murdered and they will want vengence, Which is why , some are saying, that the Americans dont want to release the photos of his body

No not at all ther will be another headcase ready to step into his shoes and how can you beat somebody that's prepared to walk into a building with a bomb strapped to themselves .

I can't see it making a large difference one way or the other. Bin Laden wasn't a terrorist mastermind. He was a rich brat with a weird hobby who happened to get extremely lucky once. But the sort of people who will be angry about his death didn't exactly like the US anyway.

“I wish you wouldn’t keep appearing and vanishing so suddenly; you make one quite giddy!”
“All right,” said the Cat; and this time it vanished quite slowly, beginning with the end of the tail, and ending with the grin, which remained some time after the rest of it had gone.

Its very difficult to stop an organization who's members are willing to die for their cause

i don't think they should have killed him as he was unarmed.
he could have been more useful alive, even to send him in to do bomb disposal etc
terrorism is a type of crime that is unprecedented and Karma will look after every
terrorist from all over the world.
