White when i'm walking about because it's a lot cooler than darker colours. I'm like a friggin rainbow when I'm wearing my biking leathers though

On a woman, if they have a slight tan, white looks stunning.

A gentleman of my errrrr, 'carriage', is somewhat restricted in the clothing department. I find dark colours and vertical stripes are my friends.

    Because they're fucking SLIMMING, ok??????

I'm going to do the boring scientific bit. We tend to wear lighter colours (white in particular) in the Summer, as it reflects the heat of the sun, where as dark colours absorb it and you bake!

Then there is the contrast between tanned skin and white that seems to work well together, although these days with a tan not being as 'vogue' as it used to be white will not suit everyone.

I don't have a clue what I'm going to wear this Summer. My wardbrobe seems to be stuffed full of clothes for the cooler and winter weather. Thankfully I don't wear much for work, so it's not been a problem yet, but I suppose I will be investing in a couple of dresses in the near future. Do they do white wrap around dresses?
