My stance is if you engage in sexual relations with someone other than your partner it is cheating. Unless however your partner is fine with it- then it is an open relationship.

The morals I won't go into to deeply as it is long and complicated but the simplest way I can put my opinion is this.
If your partner found out what you were doing would it upset them? If yes then what you are doing is not very nice. But if it is going to happen I think it is better to go and have a casual meeting with an escort where discretion is normally assured than indulge in a full blown emotional affair. As cynical as this sounds- men are men. The majority of them cheat. And so do women!
