As I'm sure you've all noticed, Google occasionally pay tribute, by amending the logo on their home page to a significant anniversary of a great person or event, and today is one of those days. I know I've been very excited in the last few days in the lead up to this and wondered would Google join me in celebration of....
The 226th Birthday of John James Audubon!
Yes, how time flies! It only seems a year ago, I was celebrating the 225th birthday ( I got absolutely gee-eyed) of the great French-American ornithologist, naturalist, hunter and painter.
I would welcome you all on EI to join me in paying tribute to this great man by sharing your own private thoughts and amusing anecdotes about Audubon.
