Wake me up in 50 years !!!

The main reasons I’ll never account to something in this current job of mine, are:

- I am awake at night time, however not working.
- Because of the reason above, I like to sleep sometimes until very late in the day, thus missing on a lot of potential clients.
- I really get upset and stressed out when I am getting messed up and it influences me for hours to come, so I always need to take huge breaks, days off and in the past even weeks off, just to put myself in a happy mood again.

Technically, if I could have a thicker skin and better sleeping patterns, I would be a happy person, with a lot of money too. Which of course helps a lot to grow my self confidence.

Every week, I try to somehow change those bad things. Even if I cannot go to bed too early, I try to get up early, hoping at least I could sleep the following night. When I am messed up by someone, I watch some funny things on youtube, I talk on the phone to a friend, I have a piece of chocolate etc .. I am really doing anything I can to keep myself happy.

But the more I am trying to do this, the more I can see it is for nothing.
Once more, I tried today again to have an early start. I slept only 4 hours, I skipped my breakfast but hey, I was ready and proud of myself. I couldn’t wait to start the day in a positive way. Hours later, I am staying on my laptop, upset, after maybe a pack of cigarettes chain smoked, with not enough power to answer my phone calls anymore.

My first client today, proved to be a timewaster. From Cork none the less. Apparently in Dublin today but I believe he was just messing me up. So not only I’m messed up in Cork, I also messed up when not in Cork by some Cork people !!!

Second guy took about 20 minutes to try to ring my intercom (apparently). After he received by texts clear directions and the intercom number to press. When I rang him to see what the heck is he doing, he didn’t answer his phone. But 10 minutes later he texted that “he is really sorry, the intercom won’t open and maybe he can see me tomorrow”. Right, like I am going to give him another appointment again !

The third potential client never rang from the landmark given.

Fourth client cancelled 5 minutes before the appointment, but he also wants to try it again in an hour time !!! Right … there I am babe, just eager for you to mess me up again.

Beside those, the other interested clients were foreign people of certain nations which no offence, I do not see as I take no chances with my safety (if you want more details about this, I will give, but other then that I prefer not to develop the subject). Plus guys that seen me before for half an hour appointments and knew no shame to stay twice as long.

In conclusion, it’s past 3:30 p.m., I am up for hours and I haven’t seen a single client so far. I am tired, stressed out and with no more patience left.

The place I am staying in of course it’s not free, it’s the same I would pay maybe in a 4 start hotel. On top of that, I have my advert, my other apartment in Cork and debts of thousands to pay back. But for the typical Irish punter these means fuck all. It’s a fucking joke for most of them. Wanking after a booking and then not showing up. Booking more then one girl and not having the decency to cancel in time or at all with the ones he decided not to see. Booking out of spite, with no intention of ever showing up. Booking just to collect addresses, like collecting fucking stamps. Etc …

I believe very few people have genuine reasons to cancel. Life emergencies don’t arrive so often that you make a booking and after 2 hours, with 5 minutes left before the appointment the probability of a genuine cancellation is close to zero.

I am not trying to steal money from anybody. I have an honest advert with lots of positive feedback. You don’t like my profile? Just don’t call me. Never, ever and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for this. Ignore my profile as much as you want, give a chance to people that want to see me to get trough to me.

You like an appointment with me? I am really happy about this.
But please don’t forget that it is impossible for me to know 100% on the phone you are a genuine client. So, if you get trough to me be nice and try to gain my trust. Lately, when I hear those rush questions or see you got no manners at all, I say by default that I am fully booked. If I don’t feel you are trustworthy, why bother? I get enough “polite” people wasting my time to also take chances on the rude ones.

Rant over for the time being. I am going to sleep. Wake me up when most people learn some bloody respect and understand this is a business for us. I guess I should be sleeping for many years to come, isn't it?
