I picked up the city final off some guy selling them at the lights on my way home,after haven a read one story stuck out more than other's

Anthony purdy ,a west Dublin guy who works in the gardai HQ has walked away from court
Without a criminal record dispute admitting the offence in court,all he had to do is make a donation of €2500(according to the paper which we can't obviously take for gospel) .
How do you walk away from court scot free after been found with video files of child pornography,A real case of not what ya know its who ya know!!
Has anyone ever heard of a similar case with such little punishment or with more punishment.
