Not a good idea to get a dog if it's primarily through pressure from others.

No point getting a cat, if left alone for days they'll just wander off.

Agree bad idea, has too be feed everyday,walked shit got rid of, vets bills etc etc. Dogs needs company, one up the road from me stuck outside all by itself all day, it just barks constantly, very cruel plus it really pisses off the neighbours.

Maybe an aquarium with some nice fish suits u more!!!!

I tried an aqaurium a few years ago but they all died after about a month.
Anyway you cant pet a fish.

Thing is I really like Border Collies, I was going to try and find some to go look at over the weekend but I suppose a dog probably isnt a good idea.
