Dalai Lama in town

I'm not the pious type but respect greatly the Dalai Lama and what he has to say. One of my favourite quotes:

"Love and kindness are the very basis of society. If we lose these feelings, society will face tremendous difficulties; the survival of humanity will be endangered."

The event will be attended by the exiled and soon to retire Tibetan leader, His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, who accepted a personal invitation to come to Ireland from his close friend, Derry man Richard Moore. Richard was blinded by a rubber bullet at the age of 10, and went on to seek out and befriend the British soldier who shot him.

I was soooooo gutted .....I could not get tickets to this for love nor money !!

He is a great Inspiration.
