Thread: Should reviews ever be deleted?

Default Should reviews ever be deleted?

This is an awkward one, as in my opinion rats dont do enough to deter. However, it is clear some clients feel that some reviews are deleted if they cast the escort in a less than favourable light. What is your opinion?

I personally think any escort with more than 5 rats (proven escort involvement) should be barred from reviews as a punishment.

I think reviews should only ever be deleted if they shouldn't have been posted in the first place. Otherwise they should stay, with a note attached explaining what is wrong with them, and a rat if appropriate.

“I wish you wouldn’t keep appearing and vanishing so suddenly; you make one quite giddy!”
“All right,” said the Cat; and this time it vanished quite slowly, beginning with the end of the tail, and ending with the grin, which remained some time after the rest of it had gone.

I dont think they should the problem is the system as it stands is too open to abuse as it is , but its difficult to know how to improve it I also think escorts shouldn't be allowed to opt out of the review system just because they get a less than favourable review. On the whole its a flawed system but you have to keep in mind people differ and different people dont click and that's often a variable factor which is difficult to allow for in a review system

I do think the Escort should have a right to reply if something is written that is blatantly not true, but no, reviews serve a purpose and a good Escort would have more good than bad reviews and no one is perfect, so 100% Amazing reviews are likely not to be expected by any reasonable client, after all we all have off days. Having said that if you have say 100 reviews and only 5 are not good over a period of time, I think it would be unfair to bar them. It's all about the ratio. Maybe state that 80% or more bad reviews will equal termination?

The reviews that shouldn't be there in the first place, should be deleted. There are obvious fake reviews that are slipping through the net. The problem is that some clients will never be happy regardless of the service provided and this can be reflected in their reviews. The escort does have the right to reply however.
I agree with BP, its too subjective ever to be infallible. I was recently looking at feedback on hotels, some thought one place was a dump, others were singing it's praises. Go figure.

This could lead to unscrupulous escorts doing 5 good reviews on a competitor to get them banned though.

I've posted on this before so wthout boring ye with a long drawn out post I think the only reviews that should ever be deleted are malicious Fake Negative reviews. Even when they're ratted, that little red icon still plants seeds of doubt.

As for your barring from reviews punishment, wouldn't that mean the escort's photos automatically go unverified?

Yes it would. But, it would also mean that people think very carefully before acting the idiot.

Agree 100% with you on that one Lucy.

They should be barred from reviews and a note on their profile saying so. Same with fake negatives where there is proven escort involvement.
