    Default The old days

Anyone remember the old days of indublin magazine? Them were the days. Numbers in a magazine and no idea what was waiting for you on the other side. The girls would only answer from a land line which meant stopping at a phone box and hoping no one could hear my conversation. I never had a bad experience back then and the thrill of not knowing what was behind the door in those days was most of what i enjoyed. I miss the old days

But do you think it was better back then? You had no pics, how could you choose someone? would you accept to stay with whoever opened the door? Maybe at the time clients had different expectations than they have today.

People are spoiled today. We had 4 tv stations and were happy. Today people have hundreads and complain nothing is on. Its the same mentality when it comes to this. The adventure doesnt exist anymore. You get a menu. Street action was good fun back then too. The thrill for me was knocking on the door back then. Nearly every place was well known and the door to the parlour was on the street not somewhere in an appt.

4!!!! You were spoilt! We had 3 in my day and they were black and white. In those days we used to have fish and chips in good old fashioned newspaper, not this poxy polystyrene box melarky that doesn't add to the flavour or absorb the grease and you used to be able to ask for scratchins and get money back on your pop bottles that were made of glass. Now those were the days!

I had to get up in the morning at ten o'clock at night half an hour before I went to bed, drink a cup of sulphuric acid, work twenty-nine hours a day down the mill, and pay mill owner for permission to come to work, and when I got home, my Dad and my Mum would kill us and dance about on our graves singing Hallelujah.

    *cough*

    You were lucky !!

At my home, we only had ONE MEAL every 2 YEARS! And if we's was late ONE MINUTE, WE HAD TO WAIT ANOTHER TWO YEARS FOR THE NEXT ONE!!

Our house was so cold , we had to share a sucky peppermint to keep warm !!

My first visit was to 'pearls' on nth gt georges st. Remember it well. I was so excited. Got rubbed all over with lots of baby oil and a happy ending. It was great.

Most of the women weren't great looking but very friendly. Occasionally you'd meet a real cracker but it was pot luck.

Best one was in Stephen st beside where the barclay club is now. Lots of good looking girls there.

I'm almost embarrassed to say I recognise every single establishment mentioned in this thread so far :-)

But, I must say the scene in ireland this past year is the best it's ever been IMHO.

    It's a golden age of escorting !!
