I remember when they invented the wheel.
    Once a prick - always a prick.

I remember being dragged back to the cave by my hair and the first time we made fire!

Was that before or after you stopped storing the corpses in the drinking water?

    You were lucky !!

At my home, we only had ONE MEAL every 2 YEARS! And if we's was late ONE MINUTE, WE HAD TO WAIT ANOTHER TWO YEARS FOR THE NEXT ONE!!

Our house was so cold , we had to share a sucky peppermint to keep warm !!

Was that the place across the road from the 24hr Spar (next to the chinese). I used to work Nightshift in the shop (around 1997) and the ladies and madam would be in and out of the shop quite a lot. Friendly, but very rough looking bunch to be honest. I remember one Christmas, the madam offered all of us on the nightshift 'a christmas bonus' of a freebie of our choice, was awkward as none of us were up for it, but didnt want to offend her as she was a bit nuts and scary (Mary was her name). One of the older married lads said he'd sort it out, haha we thought he'd politely decline on our behalf!! In hindsight he prob took up the offer!!!

I also remember there was ALWAYS cop cars outside the place at night....very obviously a kickback scheme in place.

I think things are better today though.

Wasn'there during that time, and don't recal someone by the name of Mary; nexti to a Chinese, but above a Hair-dresser's place; the owner was a dingy scumbag of a Dublin rat who owed the whole building. I think you're talking about another place thatt was around the corner from Dorset ST.
