I know what you mean, I have seen a few posters give out, there are threads that make me roll my eyes but I don't disagree with posters right to create them, it's all harmless fun as you said not hurting anyone so I just move on.

very true, it's an open forum and You can choose to ignore threads with I'm Back, I'm gone, congrats on xxx posts, but in all fairness there is an awful lot of them
you can choose to block individuals if you like too
